HRV Train Manual

HRV Train is a simple heart rate variability app that can be used to further mediation practice. Connected to a heart rate monitor, the app uses heart rate variability technology to give immediate feedback on important changes in heart rate patterns. This beat-to-beat feedback allows you to quickly learn and practice the meditation techniques, while watching the effect in real time on the screen.

How Are We Different

HRV Train differs from most other heart rate variability apps in two important ways:

All data collected is private to the user. HRV Train does not transmit any heart rate, location or other data to any third parties. HRV Train provides feedback beat-by-beat giving the user the important feedback within a few seconds. Most HRV apps provide feedback that is a summary of the past 30 seconds or longer. Since most stress responses occur on a much shorter time scale, these other apps cannot give accurate feedback in real time.
